I'm also learning Japanese (mainly cos I fly out to Tokyo in less than two months) and could use the practice. Any interest in, er, whatever the linguistic equivalent of sparring is? Cheers.

I haven't done any Japanese for two years, and I think I've forgotten most of it! Sorry I can't help.
I know there are some Japanese people around here, Taamyu ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/U540333 ) is one, why not chat to them?
