I am absolutely resplendently peachy, thanks so much for asking.

I can't say I have ever seen "The Man Who Would Be King." Perhaps I should watch for it.

I am glad you checked in so I could witness your very cool smiley - cool name. At the risk of sounding like a know-it-all, smiley - erm errr...pencil and paper work very well for recording passwords. smiley - biggrin

Oh wait, I shouldn't assume that you can do that. You may work for the Secret Service, or some other govern-Mental organization. You may be using H2G2 accounts as a way to pass top secret messages to your international network of agents. Oops! smiley - sorry

Hope you are still peachy as your nic!

I 've forgotten my password far too many times now. I can now only get back into my personal space by reducing myself to the same level of drunkenness I might have been in when I logged in in the first place. And tonight, it's worked ! smiley - bigeyessmiley - headhurtssmiley - laugh

As you've rightly observed, someone in my position can't write anything down. First of all, I can't get up that far, and secondly, I would just file the note with all the other tax demands, death-threats, and begging letters smiley - run

As you were stupid enough to contact me, I took the liberty of looking at your space, and your website. I like. If I can just slip into Penelope Cruz mode here temporarily (viz: "Vanilla Sky") -

"I like it" is verrry nice "I think you are the happiest girl who ever hold a martini"

If you havent seen Vanilla Sky, you'll just think I'm a weirdo. So I recommend you see it. If you have seen it ( and I'm going on like this because (a) I'm drunk and (b) I watched it last night) what did you think ?

I think Penelope Cruz should be sent to Iraq, to catch a few cluster bombs - I can see it now:

cluster bombs descend upon a featureless desert, PC skips into view> "I tink that those are fallink flowers !" "Here, let me catch one ! They are so bootiful"

What do you think ? Would it be better animated ?

Your drunken acquaintance, Peachy

If it is any consolation, when I read your post I had been drinking. Okay, drinking the night before, so I was hung over. smiley - hangover The post made my head hurt. smiley - headhurts

Thankfully, today it is just funny! Confusing but funny. smiley - biggrinsmiley - huhsmiley - biggrin

Now on to Vanilla Sky, and Penelope Cruz.

I saw Vanilla Sky a year ago. Unfortunately I've slept since then. I liked it, but want to see it again... some movies just beg to be seen again. Mulholland Drive is one of those. I think I either need to see it again (maybe as many as a dozen times, though I can't imagine sitting through it that often), or just accept that I didn't get it.

So yes, I have seen Vanilla Sky, and well, I still think you are a weirdo! I happen to like weirdos (a defect I've had since birth), at least they are more interesting than normal people (whatever that is).

Did you like my Penelope impression? smiley - biggrin I'm practicing to be as good as you! smiley - cool

Send Penelope to Iraq? But of course. She could be the next generation Cruz Missile!

Puns are such cheap humor!

You know, if you forget your password again, you can always just ask them to send it to you... I've had to do that several times. smiley - shrug Just a thought.

As for my web site... thanks for visiting. Now I have officially taken my site to a new location. If you get an urge, of course, you are welcome to go visit its new home, drop a line, let me know you were there... just don't touch the platypus this time!

PenGwen - your Penelope impression held me down in my seat ! You're a natural ! If I ever start my online pro-acting virtual wrestling, you can be Penelope Cruz, and I'll be Steve Buschemi. What do you think of the idea of online pro-acting virtual wrestling ? I think it might be a winner.

I've purposely avoided Mulholland Drive. I thought Lynch sold out a long while ago, so I try to give him a wide berth. I'm sure this is a source of great disappointment to him, so I'll keep it up for while.

Is it really a good film ? What did you like about it ? Let me know.

The platypus is safe, as long as it stays out of my kill-zone. You just tell it - LOOSE BEAKS SINK SHIPS !!

Love and good luck to you,

Peach

I love the idea of online pro-acting virtual wrestling! I think, when you start the online pro-acting virtual wrestling... um...smiley - erm thing, I would like to move my scratch and sniff page to the same site. Well, that is, if you don't mind.

I always thought the online scratch and sniff page should have been a huge success. It just never caught on though. I think it was because I didn't have the right marketing team on the job. smiley - huhCome to think of it, I didn't have any marketing team on the job. smiley - doh I wont make that mistake again. Of course, in order to hire a good marketing team (or _any_ marketing team for that matter), I will have to become rich and famous (emphasis on the rich part). Hurry up with that online pro-acting virtual wrestling thing. I need the money.

Since you mentioned Mr. Lynch, I'll tell you what I've heard. I have it on good authority (that playtypus has informants everywhere) that David is absolutely distraught over your refusal to see his films. Whatever you are doing, if your goal is to upset one David Lynch, it's working. Keep it up!

I don't know if Mulholland Drive is good. It is weird. (Big surprise there, eh?) There is a point where a movie gets so weird you just sort of lose site of whether or not it's actually good. That's why I want to see it again...Well, that and I just didn't get it. I think I will wait though... it's too much pressure (read: too much bother) today.

The platypus tells me he has a thing or two to say to you. I suggest you talk to him though. Don't put me in the middle. The two of you need to work this out for yourselves. It will give you a good excuse to go visit my site (new location) with the guestmap anyway. You wanted to stick a pin in it, didn't you? The new residence is now linked from my H2G2 space, and since you've already touched my platypus, it's the least you can do!smiley - winkeye

By Jiminy ! I don't recall ever touching your Platypus ! Of course, if it had brushed past me on a crowded train, it might have got that impression.......

Could you tell me who/what the Platypus is please ? I'm presuming it's your other half, but could you confirm that before I start looking over my shoulder for vacuum bags with beaks ?

I'm thinking of setting up the very first virtual pro-acting (online) wrestling contest very soon. I have got definite indications of interest from Tom Selleck, Kirk Douglas and Cissy Spacek, so I'm in a bit of a quandary how to match them up - I'm thinking tag team, but I'm open to suggestions. What do you think ?

Luv and Peace

Hello! Yes, I'm here, and the Platypus is still alive!

Sorry about the blip, I went on an unexpected trip to the Sunshine State. I had to pick up my new (to me) convertible!!! I am soooo excited, I finally have a mid-life crisis car, and didn't even have to have a mid-life crisis to get it (or am I actually having one now, and just don't know it?)

Anyway, to answer your question, the platypus is: A semiaquatic egg-laying mammal (Ornithorhynchus anatinus) of Australia and Tasmania, having a broad flat tail, webbed feet, and a snout resembling a duck's bill. Also called duckbill, duck-billed platypus. It is also a member of the Monotremata, an order of primitive egg-laying mammals restricted to Australia and New Guinea and consisting of only the platypus and the echidna. smiley - biggrin

There, now you know about platypi! smiley - smiley

Oh yeah, there is also one on my homepage. He hasn't laid any eggs (that I am aware of), and hasn't been near the water for some time... or maybe he is in the water and hasn't been on dry land for some time. At any rate, he hasn't moved in a while. Anyway, he lives there, on the front page, near the bottom, and doesn't like to be touched. I can't understand why everyone touches him anyway. smiley - biggrin

As to your virtual pro-acting (online) wrestling, since I know very little about wrestling, and only slightly more about acting perhaps you should start with a virtual suggestion box . You could ask around at the pro-wrestling web site, and of course check your local actors union... They will probably give you all sorts of suggestions (probably even about things you didn't want to know). smiley - biggrin
