Was just chatting with Fnord this afternoon and he mentioned that we should get the Lies thread moving again, but I thought it really needed you and Duckie there (*and* Hoo but not much chance of that, I reckon).

Anyhow, then I started to wonder where the heckity you were. Since it is no longer summer holidays.

So just stopping by to say hello and ask how you are and what you are doing. Hope things are going well.

Hi az and Noggin,

You're right, it is no longer summer holidays, and I am back at the grindstone. I keep meaning to come on hootoo, but have larger piles of homework mounting around my ears alREADY which are crying out saying they have priority Also, some of the time which I would normally spend on the internet I'm spending on he phone to my lovely boyfriend of nearly 6 weeks. I've thought of introducing him to hootoo, I'd realy like him to talk to you guys, but he's in much the same position as I am with schoolwork, as well as he boards some nights at school. Anyway, once the teachers have become less conscientious about setting homework and I about doing it, I should be online more often. In the meantime, I'll post as often as I can.

News about Duckie: um, she also has a boyfriend, she seems reasonably happy at school, apart from too much work, not enough sleep. She'll be pleased you remembered her actually.

So how are you guys doing? Did you have a good summer?

Summer would have been better if it was a holiday instead of just work, but at least we had a decent one. I understand from Az that it was HOT, rather than merely hot in Spain.

If you want to say hi to Fnord and Alji (have you met Alji?), there currently hanging out on the hi there thread on Az's personal space discussing Az's monitor settings .

Glad you've got yourself a nice fella; and introducing him to hootoo will be cheaper than phoning him (I know; it's not the same).

Hey! Still happening with the boyfriend, eh? How lovely!

Also nice to hear that Duckie has a boyfriend now too.

I've had a pretty good summer. Actually had an h2g2 pal come to stay here for two weeks in August and we had a great time together.

And maybe Noggin is going to come and visit too! Aren't you Noggin? Which would be lovely also. Honestly, I have such a good time showing people MY beautiful city. It helps me see Sevilla through 'fresh eyes' - you know what I mean? Because sometimes I think I take the beauty of here for granted at times.

Meanwhile I am working on my various projects, as usual. And I'm still broke, as usual. But actually feeling quite optimistic about how things are going to go this year.

Anyhow, hope you stay in touch.

Hello everyone!

How are you all? I'm alright, apart from drowning slowly in work still. Only a week and a half til half term, when maybe I'll have time to catch up with the rest of my life (esp. my Ben ) and start posting regularly again, if I'm very lucky. Meanwhile, give my love to Fnord and Roadkill, and Hoovooloo if he's still here, and anyone else who still remembers me. Patito says hi too.

Oh dear, I guess I've probably been burned to a crisp in the sewers by now, you've probably all given me up for lost . I heard the alarm, but tripped over a pile of chemistry coursework info and got impaled on a burette (containting CuSO4 soln of varying concentration - yuk), which is why it took me so long to get out. I hope the blaze is under control now - or was it only a drill?
