krylon or something
My name is krylon - or anyway the name I chose to call myself on the internet, where privacy is an important thing. I like tea, especially green tea and oolong. Before that I drank lots of coffee, now I drink tea instead - it contains caffeine, too (some people say "No, it contains theine", but that's the same thing, chemically speaking) and tastes a *whole lot* better.I like my tea pure, even black tea, without any milk or sugar or stuff... And I don't like artificially flavored tea, either. Earl Grey or Jasmine tea is okay, though. What music do I like? First of all *The Future Sound Of London*. They are true masters of ambient music, especially their 1994-masterpiece "Lifeforms". A true must for all lovers of electronic music. Then I do like Astral Projection, the Rolling Stones of Trance.
But I also like The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Eric Clapton. Recently I
came to like Paco De Lucia, a great Flamenco guitarist. I am not
really into Flamenco, but the man is a *great* guitarist.
My operating system of choice is Linux, which I come to like a little
more every day.
And I read a lot. My favourite author (besides Mr. Douglas Adams, of
course! ) is William Gibson, author of "Neuromancer" and one of the
'prophets' of cyberspace.
I did study philosophy for some time, so I like discussions about
quite a lot of topics, from those mentioned above to Relativity Theory
and Black Holes. But especially I like to discuss politics.
But before you go straight at hard political issues you might want
to consider the fact that I my political view are quite left-wing.
You might even call me an anarchist or communist, as long as you give
a precise definition of what you mean by that.The eastern European and Russian regimes, for example, had *nothing* to do with Communism and even less with Anarchism (obviously); in fact, they were not much less fascist than Hitler, Moussolini or Franco. Just because they claimed to Communist and Anti-Fascist doesn't mean we have to buy it, does it? That's why *I* don't call me anything - just krylon or something.
