I still see you down there .....
Rev Nick Posted Sep 12, 2010
I've been kinda on-again, off-again anyways. Necessity causing a new home zone here (if you note the huge U-number)
How are things with you? Having been literally years, are you still slogging through long hours of cane processing?

on december 31 2006 at 8am in the morning my husband decided he no longer wanted to be married, he then packed up the ute and left my life
Life has been a strange and wonderful journey to my new home town of Perth in western australia
I now work at Bunnings. Australias and NZs biggest hardware warehouse, I am the nightfill captains 2IC and I love my life

Wow, some big changes. And from your tone, ones that you have accepted and dealt with very well. I remember your withdrawal from this site around then, but never heard the reason. And by the time that you began to return, I was banned.
Life carries on here, still in the same house, same job for me (repairing radio and RADAR equipment for the military). We did have a lovely vacation along the way, expressed fairly well at F1892037?thread=4584081 ... Last year about this time, a retribution for that vacation occurred as was posted at F114501?thread=6955226
And today is my only baby's 29th birthday. So in all, life is pretty good.

I was shattered when he left absolutely gutted I was in shock for about 6 weeks, then he told me he had been sleeping with a prostitute
I then decided that there was 2 ways my life could go......I could wallow in self pity, or I could show him what he was losing
so I forced the sale of the house, made him pay me for his half of our ute and all the tools he took, along with the fridge, and then went travelling all about oz meeting people off the net, (I put my scooter, 4 teachests with clothes and dragons, and 5 book boxes into storage) I fell in love with Canberra (our capital), it was autumn and glorious in its red and golds, Queensland never had autumn, only the wet and the dry and moved there.
I got a job in a small supermarket as the main checkout chick and greeter, which I loved, I have discovered i really like helping peoples.
I meet someone online ( had known of him, and seen him around on several sites over the years) who lived in Perth, in the space of several months in 2008 I had visited Perth 4 times......a girlfriend here in Perth was moving into a new flat and she offered to rent me a room, so I move a few months later I found my own place. I am still dating the same guy I met online
I also changed my name from Helen to Lulu, as most peoples I met knew me as Lulu, cos it was my online name, and earlier this year shaved my head for a charity raising $almost $1500!
in hind site........my hubbly did me the biggest favour of my life by leaving
talk again soon, for now I gotta go

Ummm, I have no idea what happened there ... I talked of my life and referred to a couple of h2g2 journals. I guess that I can only wait and see if I get an e-mail. They don't always happen ...
Indeed, your ex-critter did indeed do you favours. You have found a life that seems to please and suit you very comfortably. And with happiness. A very important ingredient. I really am pleased for you.

In any case, it's sorted and life goes on.
'Lulu' is it now? I expect that as we approach autumn, you might be looking forward to spring?

we seem to be having one last cold spell, the days get quite warm into the 20's but the nights are dropping to 2 or 3, so still rugging up.
First day back at w**k tonight, and I think I will still be taking my ski pants for the ride home
oh that is news as well, I upgrade my little 50cc scooter to a 125cc scooter and had to get my motorbike license, I can't remember when i last drove a car........way back in 2006 I think

Ooooh, it sounds like you are growing up to the big girl's bike again.
In my much younger days, I thought of getting a , but with salary so sparse, a year-round vehicle that could handle Canuck seasons seemed the better idea

And some mornings lately, I'm wishing I would have dusted off a long-sleeved work shirt. Simple cotton would do, nothing heavy. When the morning dew on the two cars has 'texture', you know it's chillin' ...

You know, if I didn't stroll through the <./>Info</.> page every so often, I'd have missed this entirely. My accounts have changed a few times over the years ...
Life goes along here, not swimmingly but well enough. There was some serious over-spending of wage budgets for a few years, and so the contract under which I worked ran out early. I have been laid-off since the end of March, while whole new packages are put together. Being of a federal government nature, this is at about the same pace as the construction of Cheop's pyramid. Even having had a few little pots and pockets of savings, my bride still working and myself receiving unemployment insurance, after more than 8 months ... things are getting pretty tight and thin.
February saw my Dad thunder to the floor and not rise again. For an always active man, that is maybe almost the easiest way to go. He would have been quite suprised at how many people attended his wake and funeral. Quite a number of names and faces that predated most of us
And that is about it for this year. I won't mention birthdays and such, now that both of us are on the wrong side of 50.
Hey, have you seen the new smilies that are appearing here and there? First a arrived on the scene, then a lonely but cute little . Now people can not only after a , they can have a change the direction! (New ones are appearing daily now on the Advent Calendar at A87723967)
How's things and stuffs been with you?
