That is fine Stephen, it is always nice to meet other aussies.

For some reason I thought you were in Wagga Waggasmiley - erm

Ivan is also from Canberra (or Can'tberra smiley - laugh)

my page is rather bare at the moment smiley - sadface as I left hootoo a while back and am only now getting back into it.

I will get a round to fixing up my PS one day, when I find time to stop procrastinating that is.

I am only recently moved to can'tberra, I moved from Bundaberg QLD, in April and travelled around for a bit before falling in love with this city. I got a job in spare parts for heavy machinery, mostly Case IH stuff, but it was too far from home, so I quit and got a job as a checkout chick (well dragon anyway smiley - tongueout) at my local supermarket, much closer to home.

smiley - cheers
lulu

Much Much Much Apologies Hel2...I remember you now!!! smiley - smiley
Several months ago we were sometimes posting to each other, and I recall you saying that you were going to leave Bundaberg and, I think, going to NZ for a holiday!!

Welcome back, and it is lovely to hear from you again. I was living in Wollongong at the time, remember? Anyway, I now live and work here, so the opportunities to meet face to face are there, if you wish...smiley - biggrin

smiley - cheers

Stephen

I do hope to getto wagga one weekend to see my friend A, she has been here twice now, once for my cave warming (I live under a house, in a very cave like bedsit) and once for her esldest boy to ref in and auskick game in the halftime of an AFL game (swans and demons) I am not much of a follower of any sort of footy so it was an interesting experience to say the least!smiley - ok

and get your butt back into terrys eyeballs thread, she never meant for you to leave it, just take personal convos to ones own page smiley - smiley

anyhoo time for me to make some dinner and kick back with a good book

smiley - hug

smiley - ta Hel2..smiley - smiley..I didn't leave Terris thread for any other reason than that I just thought it was getting a bit "boring", and seemed to have lost it's sparkle.
Terri is a lovely lovely, kind, generous, warm hearted Lady..a real Treasure in fact. We have not only posted to each other on hootoo, but have e-mailed each other, msn'd many times, and have had the occasional phone call between each other...smiley - smiley.

I still have a wish to finally get to Europe and my first Port of call will be to see Terri, and personally thank her for being so welcoming and open to me, among millions of others..smiley - smiley

But at the moment I am extremely busy in my new job, I have another Lady on hootoo who I have formed a very close relationship with, smiley - magic even, and I no longer have the time or inclination to get into too many conversations.

btw, I live in a Tourist Park in Albury at the moment, and I am in a cabin with all amenities...smiley - biggrin, car, mobile phone, laptop computer, and life is brilliant!!

Please, Hel2, I hope this posting offers an explanation for my actions, and you hopefuuly will realise I have no ill feeelings towards anyone. The mini micro Aussie meet seems to be a fantabulous idea and hopefully we can get a few more Aussies involved. We wii sure show those Pommies what real drinking and fun is!!! smiley - rofl

smiley - cheers

Steve
