Hi there Emmily,
How are things with you today?
Thank you for all the information you sent me. It's a lot of reading material, but it looks like it will all become very handy in the future.
Talk to you later!

Nice to hear from you Patrick....
Hope you enjoying finding out around h2g2..something which is spooking some researchers is the tag..if you go on another researchers page and see your name there..don't be concerned..that tag simply shows the name of any researcher who visits the page..some of them are quite funny....
If you haven't already found it <./>Askh2g2</.> is a great page to visit..there's discussions on just about anything & everything there..
If you have any questions..don't hesitate to ask..I'll be happy to help....
I've had quite a busy hectic day..pleased to relax in front on my PC...
How was your day?..

Is the viewer tag the reason why, when I visited your page, it said, "Hi BicycleSkald"? I thought you were just expecting me.
My day has been fine, Tuesdays are my days off for now until my last day of work on the 31st. (Then I become a full time student.) My wife and I saw The Hours today, which was a great movie, and almost 95% true to the book - a rarity. Otherwise we've both been laying low, trying to get over these miserable colds we caught last week.
Hope the rest of your day was restful.

Yep..that's my viewer tag..I might make it more interesting than just "hi" one day....
A lot of people seem to have colds at the moment..so far..(touch wood)..I've avoided getting it....
Hmm..is unusual for a film to be true to the book..mostly I think films are based on the book..which can change from book to film quite a lot..

Well, to be sure, there were a few details that were left out of the movie. And the movie was a lot talkier than the book was. But for the most part, yeah - it remained pretty faithful to the source material. Michael Cunningham, who wrote the book, said he's probably the only author who's happy with what Hollywood did to his book.
All the ladies in the film were stupendous, but Nicole Kidman definitely deserved the recognition she got for the part. (Did she deserve an Oscar for it? Well...) All in all, highly recommendable.
