Back again

Well, I am back, now that I've finally thought of not one, but two topics to potentially write about. I've noticed someone has started an entry on one of the topics, but it's incomplete and they have now left h2g2, so I am wondering whether it's possible to continue an abandoned entry. Have asked Kristina the Flemenco Dancer, so will see. Anyway, I will get to work on my other topic...

The washing machine smells...I don't think this is a good sign...

Stalling...

Sorry, haven't done anything on here or with my article for a while. Have been v busy with visits from mother-in-law, visits to family, work etc... Will try to do something more soon!

Peer Review

I have now (on Katrina's advice) submitted my PCD entry for Peer Review. I am a bit worried in case it gets slated... Oh well, at least I will know. I'm sorry this is not a very interesting journal!

First Guide Entry

Well, I have written my first Guide Entry smiley - bigeyes. It was a very informative experience, both in terms of increasing my knowledge of the subject and getting to know my way around h2g2 a bit more. I'm not sure if it is any good, but have asked for comments from my ACE, so hopefully will be enlightened (for better or worse) soon. I got a bit confused with the Guide ML, because I kept wanting to write bits of HTML (of the little HTML I know). Maybe I should have stuck to plain text, but I needed to make things bold, otherwise it wasn't very easy to read. My next challenge is to learn how to do links to external pages in Guide ML...

Any tips gratefully received!
