2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Started conversation Mar 9, 2003
No, I didn't get it but as you gave the answer, I feel sure that I'd be able to answer the question if I am ever confronted by it again
Oh, hello! Spotted your space, thought I'd say hello...
If you want any help about the site, or anything, you can, if you like ask me... I'm not saying that I will* be any help, but hay, I can give it a try

Heh, thanks for replying, I didn't expect anyone to even look at this page, and I certainly don't expect anyone to get more than 5 points on my quiz.
Anyway, thanks again for stopping by, I'm glad you learnt something new!

You;'d be supprized, just how much of the site people actually* look at Soon as my conversations look a bit quiet, I begin wondering about, checking out userspaces, and reading articles and things

I'm at work at the moment, so my reply time seriously slow...
Fortunately it's quite a slow day so there is time to write at all...
And I might get to finish writing this if they stop phoning.
*sighs at the sudden rush of calls*

Good luck with the calls Hopefully not too many livid horrible callers I did a spell when I was 17 working for a window compeny, doing cold call It wasn't that bad really

*shudders* I couldn't do cold calling... people are rude enough when it's them phoning you, what they'd be like if you woke them, or made them get out of the bath doesn't bear thinking about.
It's gone totally mad... such a shame I'm on lunch now.

Yes, we did get a few interesting* uses of language over the phone in response to our calling Never really bothered me at the time; it was pretty good money for a part time job, whilst I was studying, and certainly beat working in McDonalds or KFC

Yeah, McDs and KFC would be far worse.
I can see it being better than barwork (what I did in London) where there's a constant threat of more than just a few colourful words.
I like my job really... it's just the customers who make it suck.

Yep, always the customers... but, do remember, 'the customer is always* right' : My younger brother, who is now nearly 17 is after a part time job to get some cash whilst he is doing his 'A' levels... Him and his friend, worked out a list of worse to best professions, KFC/McDonalds, were at the bottom, and it was a little way up the list I.E., better professions, before they hit Prostitution I recon he'l end up doing glass collecting, or bar work; but I'm not sure if he'l be old enough to do bar work I really ought to find a job... one day, perhaps

I knew a guy who was a builder during the day, and by night he was a male escourt... made about 2000 pounds a week doing about 4 days of work. So unfair.
I think I'd put dustman, road sweeper, traffic warden, and sewer cleaner below fast food employee...

Really?
*ponders*
Sure being treated like garbage could suck quite a lot, but it'd be better than having to go out in the cold at stupid times in the morning to throw loads of rubbish in the back of a great big truck... I think...
Anyway, I think we are agreed that working in a fast food place would indeed be very crap.

I think I'd prefer being outside doing a crap job, rather than in a horrible fast food joint but neuither would exactly be great...

Ahhh, that'll be why then... I'd always take the indoor option over the outdoor... I just don't like outside.
