I didn't renew my membership with Mensa, because l found the local Mensan population very cliquey: and they just turned me off, for some reason. And l didn't like the chairman much, either.

Times have changed, somewhat. Thankfully.

Hi, thanks for replying. I have taken the guided tour I think I probably need more time to familiarize myself I am a bit impatient. The biggest problem I have with the site is the small space for writing in. I type really fast because I used to be a secretary and I like to scan back but the space is so small I can only get a few sentences in. Also I didn't realise that you can't just save something without it being posted. If I post my story, will anyone read it?

Apart from that, it is indescribably reassuring to be in contact with other people who write. It has given me a real boost to carry on when I have recently started thinking about returning to office work (mainly to support by eldest who has just started uni).
