Happy New Year
Posted Jan 1, 2005
Well,... It's been a long and winding reality. Thank God we have the option of redeeming ourselves every 365 days or so. Reflecting on the year, (I have never tried to assess how a year went for me before,...but.... ) I have been to a number of incredible concerts, and had very decent seats... yeah! And have realized that the job I have isn't me, so I have made the decision to return to college and get a set of options which I don't currently have. (This re-assessing stuff works great!)
I am not big on the resolution thing but have decided there a few things that could use a bit of modifying as far as the next year is concerned. I hope everyone takes the opportunity to 're-assess' and maybe prioritize accordingly.
This Christmas was very different in the weather department, usually there is sufficient snow in Minnesota to make snow men or snow angels by Christmas, or just enough to capture that 'I live in a snow globe' feeling by Christmas eve. This year there hasn't even been enough to cover much of the brown grass.
I have been away from this site for quite awhile and am glad to have rediscovered it. I actually saw something on the internet about 'The HitchHikers Guide to the Galaxy' movie coming out in May of '05. I am so excited! I really think it will be great, and it's going to be a bit of a wait... but well worth it I am sure. Also, Todd rundgren will be in Minnesota in May, so I will have to get tickets... I have been to a couple of his concerts before... they are so worth going to see... if you haven't done so in the past, I highly recommend getting out to see one of his shows. I don't know if he is big in Europe or not, I do know he has toured in Japan...and I believe he has a date scheduled in Toronto this spring... not sure...anyway a great musician...and I say that with complete reverance, there aren't a whole lot of performers I would address as musicians these days. Queensrych is also playing at a venue in Minneapolis Minnesota called First Anenue, in a few weeks here, so that's going to be a great way to kick off the new year. And I am still keeping track of NightRanger, to see when they will apear in Minnesota again, it's really kind of cool cause when they go out on the road they usualy end up here more than once a tour. I try not to miss a show, they are kind of a tradition with my brother and I, we started going to see them when we were kids, and we have only missed two Minnesota shows since they started touring here like..17-18? years ago...wow, has it been that long? So.. anyway I have some of my fun planned for '05.
I am wanting to have a more animated sort of space, but can't remember how to add the smiley guys and cartoons....well, I'll try to figure it out... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

my real life reality check
Posted Apr 11, 2003
Once I turned, to find myself in a huddle among the sheep, yet being of lone of mind and a tint or two just off...and so unable to relate, for reasons even greater than these, I was all at once greatful and regretful for my solitary life.

I have nothing profound to say at this time, I've had no life altering revelations to share, just...if you have some incite to give, some goodness to share, or an opportunity to just be nice to someone, please just do it.
Just as there are reprecussions, long after a negative output, you have no idea of the goodness accompolished, long after you fill a small space in another beings life, with positive energy. hollypuppy
please take this observation into account, in any way it applies to your existance
