First of all, you can add your friends to your friends list by going to their spaces, & clicking on 'add to friends list' in the right margin. Also, if you want to create a nickname instead of your assigned number, click on 'preferences' in the left margin, ok.
There should be an ACE, Assistant Community Editor along fairly soon to give you an official welcome & some pointers to help you get around (& become a bit more comfortable here.) In the meantime, sit back, have a
