So... as some of you of noticed, I've been placed into pre-moderation... delightful...


I deserve it... but I could of least been notified about this before I logged on today to find I had to wait around 30 minutes for one posting to come up...

I had to use that name, because "The Great Telewest" decided to play the idiot and basically disable my e-mail address...



I'm deciding wether or not to even come on here anymore...


If I don't come online anymore then I'll say hi and bye to everyone I met on h2g2... had some good and bad times... and especially to Gemma/Loz and Sian... you're great mates to have... very funny...

I can't even get into my [email protected] e-mail address... so no... I've not seen any e-mails for at least two months...


Is there a way I cqan get my address changed on my account???...

Yep, just click on preferences. You'll need your password though.

I can't see it helping your case, Bryan's on pre-mod too. He opened up a new account, but I think that's against the <./>HouseRules</.>.

I realised about the preferences thing when I posted that last message...


It doesn't work for some reason...


I change it to [email protected] and then put my password in at the bottom...


But nothing changes...



I know Bryan's on pre-mod...


How long does this last???...


It's really frustrating...

If I remember rightly, you change your email addy then click on "update details", then it will ask for you to confirm your password. Try that.

I guess that's the idea behind it, to be as frustrating as possible. It should have said in your email and I don't know if they'd resend it or not(I'll check that out for you).

Did Bryan say how long he was on pre-mod for?

Serj, just make sure that the italics have a contactable email address. if changing it via your preferences didnt work then leave it on Abi's PS as they will automatically contact you via the default one in your settings otherwise.

They are unlikely to discuss the pre-mod of your particular situation on site so it is important that they know you had problems with your mailbox.

It wouldn't surprise me if TPTB didn't take you on as an ACE while you're premoderated. Still, if you stick to the <./>HouseRules</.> it should all turn out alright in the end.
