Lancashire or Lincoln Boy
I am originally from Lancashire, born in Bolton and proud of it, although I lived most of my childhood on the edge of Sunnyhurst Woods and the Darwen moors life was good. I moved to Lincolnshire in 1972, not through choice, but having joined the RAF they began my basic training and career in Bomber County where I have lived until the present day (taking into account postings overseas to various countries);life is still good. I am due for retirement shortly from the RAF and will have completed 37 years service. I now treat Lincoln as my homebase and love the areas and people who live there, especially a local lass whom I met and married 29 years ago. Lancashire will always be the place of my birth, but Lincolnshire is the place to live.
