i would like to wish all my friends in h2g2 a wonderful,healthy and happy new year.
i would just like to add that i will remember 2003 as the year that i joined h2,and made some very sincere new friends.there are some really special people on here,and i am glad wewe found each other.

"DRIVING"US MAD!!!!

TODAY IS THE DAY that i have had to say"well,i don't believe it!!!!!
5yeayears ago i had a new drive laid.it's quite a long drive,and when it was laid it was done in one piece.now seen as we arent experts on concreting,or laying drives(maybe that should be"we WEREN'T")we weren't to know that it should have had expansion joints in it....apparently this allows it to expand without crackingwell.to cut a long story short,it had to be taken up ,and re-laid.of course anyone could be expected to assume that would be the end of the matter.oohhh noooo,no such luck.i think the drive has a mind of its' own!!!!it was re-laid AGAIN,for the FOURTH time TWO WEEKS AGO.
The man who does the inspecting of these sort of things came to see me today...to do a final inspecting..so that we could all breath a sigh of relief!!!!!!!
i stood with baited breath as he walked up and down,,and said mmmm,a couple of times,and smiled at me........
,THEN, , I WAS GIDDY BY NOW...,he said well.it'll have to come up agaiin in the spring..it's too cold to do just now!!!!!
this time it is so bad it hurt his feet when he walked on it.
when it is re-laid next year it will be over five years since the original one was taken up.
i mm in a state of shock....no sense will be made of my postings tonightight!!!!!!

My daughters friend disappeared on her 18th birthday...15years ago.
today it was confirmed that she was found dead,and never identified..in 1994.i feel sorry that her life was ended so sadly.GOD BLESS DONNA.xx
