Just saw an you left in a thread.
It suggests I check my email.
So I did.

And I'm here now to confirm that the last email I have from you was a few days ago regarding a birthday for Mudhooks and an invitation to join in festivities at another web location.

I was unable to get there from here and should have asked you to pass on my belated and misdirected 'hoppy birthingday' to the Hooked Mud in question but my ability to reply then was as handicapped as my ability to join the party.

They say we may never get 'high speed access' wires strung along my road because about ten years ago (before the www) they spent a gazillion bucks running an experimental buried cable (which is constantly being dug into by farmers and snowplows) and they have no intention of stringing new lines on the power company's poles.

That's a relief!
I thought maybe he was still pissed about my 'dogs are colorblind' remarks. But of course doggies can see a lot more than we mere hoomans.

I will endeavour to reach your blog. But my access is very seriously limited at this library terminal which is 25km from home and open only three days per week. I'm lucky to get five hours per week and it just isn't enough to keep up anymore.
