Do you get access to the money from the cheque itself instantly now?
Yes, most banks clear the cheque directly to the account allowing you to draw on the funds deposited right away even though it technically takes 3 working days to clear.
How about electronic transfers?
yes, money is deposited instantly and is available right away.
