I told you it may just be because we don't know him. I'm sure you know PedanticBarSteward? He was somebody I had mistaken for being arrogant. I'm still grateful I revised my opinion because he's one of my best friends (not that I ever would expect this to happen with TM, but I try to be open-minded).

I'm a bit fraught at the moment - snowed under at work and I'm moving to a new flat in a fortnight, so the Stretcher's not top of my priorities list.

I went to Spain for a few days - had to drop out of the Stretcher. Mainly because I'm swamped at work again.

I'm really sorry about that. Trout dropped out, too.
Wasn't it Rich who once said that it looked as if the winner wouldn't be the best writer, but the last one not to have dropped out (or something along those lines)?
