Secretly Not Here Any More

After a chat with Pastey last night, I have two things to say.

1) He's terrifyingly good at what he does.
2) I've never been more excited about the future of h2g2.

Seriously. When Pliny's launched, and everything that's currently being worked on in the background becomes public knowledge, there'll be a real buzz about this place.

I'm getting more and more used to Pliny now... and starting to prefer it over Ripley smiley - bigeyessmiley - weird Just a few glaring things with the conversation thread list layout which would be nice to be differnt... pretty-much everything else I've done/used on Pliny seems to work fine, and/or better than ripley smiley - weird
Any more help needed on testing any specific stuff? smiley - weirdsmiley - zen

You'd have to ask the tech team. I just got dragged in for last minute trouble-shooting over our Google results. smiley - winkeye

Look for "Google Penguin" - that's the codename for the last set of G updates. Obviously it's "killed" SEO. Again.

The death of SEO has been wildly exagerated! smiley - biggrin Every change google makes apparently marks the demise of SEO smiley - snork I only really took an interest in SEO just as an accademic bit of interest.... and without paying out a penny just fiddling with my webpages, got my homepage and a few of the other webpages, to come up on page one of google for a couple of keywords smiley - snork probably on page ten million by now, I've done nothing to them in years... smiley - dohsmiley - laugh

Sounds great, Mr603. smiley - smiley I can't quite get so excited about Pliny just now, but once it works I'm sure it will be terrific.

I'm excited, too. And not just because I have an extensive Wish List for mods tools that actually work. smiley - winkeye
