h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

My insomnia's not playing fair over the last few days. I'm finding it very hard to get to sleep, and then I very rarely sleep for more than three hours straight, which isn't long enough to get any REM sleep and as such I'm tired.

Not been up to much, aside from carving a mighty Spanish empire on Medieval: Total War, and going down the pub yesterday. Due to financial constraints I got Sharples tanked up on Gin (seeing as it was only a quid for a gin and tonic), the lightweight. We only had about 5 each and he was pretty damn tipsy.

Then again, he's a bit of a girl anyway, spends all his money on clothes, and spent 50 nicker on a pair of sunglasses because they can 'withstand a shotgun blast at 10 yards'. Great. Your sunglasses will be fine, but your face gets a bit shredded.

Anyway, I should finally go to the Soundgarden tomorrow to see some live bands, and I've got to rest my legs because my achillees is knackered.
