Just called to say thank you very much for your help, Pimms, and to have a wee "lurk' around. Your PS is a dazzler, congratulations. Are you still on the lettuces? Be careful or you might end up skinny as Reggie's "I'm not a ...biscuit... person" brother-in-law. Quite a fan of Reggie Perrin but I'm struggling to remember Lettuce. Fondly remember Uncle Percy Spillinger, CW and the doc though - class acts.

Well, as I said, any bits you'd like to emulate just use testuserpage219930. Don't ask me what they all mean, as some I copied in turn off other researchers (I think I understand *most* of the coding) - you will have to get to grips with GuideML, but that can only be useful for future use.

I've hit an equilibrium weight I can comfortably sustain. Lettuce was the jilted second bride of Reggie's uncle (the one who tried to set up a secret army, and was always having a 'cock-up on the catering front' before his alcoholic first wife departed)

By the way, Pimms, I think we've had a slight misunderstanding. The opening comment of your reply at first confused me, but I reckon I now have it sussed.
I think you thought I was correcting you when I said 'son -in-law, not brother-in-law'. But I was actually correcting myself from post 1 and referring to Linda's beanpole partner rather than Uncle Jimmy. If I'd written instead, 'brother-in-law, not uncle", then under that hypothetical circumstance I would indeed have been correcting you about Jimmy's relationship to Reggie and your comment would have made perfect sense. But I didn't , so it didn't.
It's just that you said "yes Reggie's brother-in-law" like you were agreeing with me. Now if you'd said "yes Reggie's son-in-law" that too would have made sense to me, but not to you of course because you would have had to be referring to Linda's husband the beanpole, to whom you were never intentionally referring at all.

I hope that clears the matter up, but I might have the wrong end of the stick altogether.

You might actually (in fact you will) need a calculator to check this. It's quite a long-winded solution but seems to come out at 90 degrees. I think it's correct but you might know different.

No, no sir, the fault was entirely mine. I admit we were talking at cross-purposes with the in-laws, but your reference to them made me realise that I'd referred to Jimmy as Reggie's uncle, which of course he wasn't.
