Well, I was thinking about you today - I was drinking a horrible awful cup of chai - and I remembered that you're in Ireland.

Which means that either you're full-on-celebrating right now or you're hiding from the oirishness of it all

Either way: I hope you're having a good one. And I think your computer is infested? So maybe you won't see this until much later.

In which case: Happy Easter (if you do that... happy spring if, like me, you don't do Easter) they're cute though, anyway. We should have more of them.

Er... no, I haven't been drinking. I got a pay rise today, that might account for a sort of brain-scrmabled message.

Seaking of awful chai, don't bother trying Drinking Chaicolate or Chaicoa.

Hmmm, wonder what Chaico-cola would be like. I'll never know, as I abominate coke.

Although I'm safe, I reckon, since I don't think Chai (in any guise) is really big here. Yet.

Coke is ok, if it is the only wet thing around and you're parched.

Thanks for the kind thoughts. The only St.Patrick's weekend stuff I did was to go and watch the brilliant fireworks display on Saturday night last week. Looking back, one interesting thing I noted was the total absence of any drinking. No-one within sight of me, and I was sitting above crowd head-level on my bike, appeared to have so much as a can of beer. I rather regretted not having a wee drop of whiskey or rum, it was pretty cold.

BTW, Sho, why do you think my computer is "infested?" I am having problems with an irritating time-delay on h2g2, but not on any other sites.

No, Sho, you're not going crazy. I had been having problems with an infested PC, but not lately. Though actually I think that although my ultra-whizzo anti-virus can't find it, I'm pretty certain this time-lag thing on h2g2 is some kind of viral glich.

Fireworks are the best!

Could it be your ultra-whizzo anti-virus is working overtime on hootoo, checking every page in the site before it gives you one? Ask someone who knows more about it than I do; ask the h2g2 technical department.

Interesting thought, dear R'man. But I don't seem to be having problems bringing up individual pages, it's the delayed-action scroll-bar, and slightly delayed typeing appearance that's the irritation.
