Very interesting article. I'd always wondered why the Chinese cracked down on Falun Gong, which seemed like a fairly inoffensive group. Now I know. Yipes.

Thanks for that, and apologies for not responding sooner, I hadn't noticed your posting at the bottom of my page, I usually expect new stuff to come in the left-hand column ( I use Alabaster.)

I suppose one can't put a link on Falun Gong to the extensive piece I wrote, as it is still in Peer Review?

I wrote this particular entry before I got the hang of GuideML. By contrast, the Falun Gong piece is riddled with links and references.

I checked with the Editors about the link. We should only link to Edited or Recommended entries. What we do in cases like this is to leave the link in the first entry as it is, and then when the second one is Recommended request an update. If you'd like to leave me a message when the article on Falun Gong makes it through Peer Review, I'd be happy to pass along the request to the Editors.

I read your entry on Falun Gong and found it really interesting. Some of Master Li's beliefs are a little strange. I'm surprised he lives in the United States, where he no doubt sees ample evidence of alien invasion everywhere he looks!

Oh well, if you're happy with the Taiping Rising entry (aside from the link, that is), I'll go over it one more time and then send it on to the Editors.
