Alas, alack, and is it back
This nightmare recreation?
I thought it dead, my Moer-free head
Delights in liberation.
A year at least, the dreadful beast,
Has left my mind at peace.
Now it returns! One never learns --
You'll always slip on grease.
Alas indeed, the drug with speed
Implants its subtle hook,
Balladic form becomes the norm
Of thought. Let's write the book!
