El sentido de la vida - the meaning of life in Spanish
Labdien, tervist, buongiorno, bonjour, guten Tag, shalom, zdrastvy', salaam and hello to you all. I'm Richard, born in Stourbridge 1977, linguist and mad person. I discovered this site through an honourable fellow mad acquaintance, Amanda, who is Researcher U213344. I was always lost in my studies, devouring books on foreign languages and computing since I was a tot. I went to Oxford 1995-1999 and got a language degree, then qualified as a teacher at Birmingham Uni in 2002. I'm devoted to the Eurovision Song Contest. Draw your own conclusions! ;-) Current heroes include Elizabeth I and Colin Moock. I spend my time doing odd stuff like learning Flash MX, reading books on Tudor History (I can hear you all yawn!) and learning lesser-known languages like Latvian and Estonian. I LURVE travelling... But when I need to turn my brain off for a bit I love eating out and going to the pictures.Latest Messages
