Am also a big Nick Cave fan. Favourite album "Murder Ballads". First time I heard it, I thought it was sick and depraved. Second time, thought it was great. Know I'm going to have a bad day when I wake singing "Wild Rose", though....

Hello there...Murder Ballads is indeed a fine album although I prefer the more laid back but acidic feel to No More Shall We Part. His latest offering seems to be a bit of a disappointment or maybe I haven't given it time to 'grow' on me yet.
Waking up singing 'Wild Rose' is not a good start to a day although it could be worse, it could be Stagger Lee.....

Stagger Lee usually starts roaming through my head around 2:00pm on the days I wake up singing "Wild Rose"... Those are the days I take a strong sedative (generally single malt) and go back to bed. I haven't heard the latest album (running out of CD money) but I will pick it up around payday and give it a good listen. Take care.
