NuclearConfusion -Not a lot of money in the revenge business Started conversation Jul 24, 2003
So the number 23 and Fnord... you ever written that in red pen on the pyramid of a one dollar bill?
If, for some impossible, check, improbable, reason you don't yet know what I'm talking about, I am a fan(if that's the right word) of a series of books by author Robert Anton Wilson. I even had a cat named Schroedinger. And a dog named Pavlov.
Well gotta go. POE.

How would I NOT know what you meant, what with all the hints?
I think you'll find it's "POEE" not "POE", unless you're talking about the famed Edgar.-><-
No, I've never scrawled an eye in the triangle on a dollar bill, for the simple reason that I don't live in America and therefore don't have access to one. I do, however, leave a paper trail of stamped fnord's all over the internet, which I consider a good substitute.
Is that true? If I didn't hate dogs with a vengeance, I'd do the same. And train them to fight.

umm, it's been a while (Since I read the books, I mean) but I'm sure it's POE. He said it was mistaken for Poe, but was actually taken from Dr. Strangelove; in which the usage was purity of essence/peace on earth.
Anyway, if you've ever heard of Art Bell, umm, so have I. If you haven't, you should look him up. Has a big radio talk show. Sounds like it'd be right up your dark alley. L8r

Oh yes, I thought you meant the Paratheoanametakystikhood of Eris Esoteric.
Art Bell? I read about him in Everything is Under Control, but I assumed he'd be either dead by now or on a US only station.

yowzer. No, no I meant the other thing. And Art better not be dead, or their being tricky with their re-runs. artbell.com , I think. Got some interesting stuff there. Good times.
Curiosity strikes. What was that, umm, POEE thingy?

BTW, _The Universe Next Door_ is the title of a very good book on physics and cosmology by Martin Rees. I advise you both to read it.

It is? I'll look for it, but none of my local book stores seem to rate anything higher than the latest Archer thriller and the occasional Crowley book. I've spent the last four years looking, and only found two R.A.Wilson books.
You know what Discordianism is, but not POEE? It's a branch of Discordianism, but geared towards theoretical and philosophical thinking, and worshipping Her in her aspect of Eris and not Discordia or A Bloody Nuisance. Look it up. Founded by Malaclypse the Even Younger, of whom I am I direct descendant.
