And you do that by impoverishing Lebanon generally and weakening the government? You want them to sort out Hizbullah and in order to encourage them to do so, you weaken their ability to do so, even if it were possible in the first place, which it isn't?
Wilma - is all of this going to increase support for Hizbullah?

You can't increase support for HizbAllah where they already have it - they are adulated by the Shia - and the rest of the country hate them. The country is not united, Trin. The one thing that makes me laugh is the thought of the 'army' routing hizbAllah... Hah - HizbAllah is better equipped and better trained than the army Sanioura is talking out of his bottom.

I know what you mean, B. Trog and I have been kaughing all morning - on the verge of tears, if you like - a sort of maniacal 'hahahar' - mainly at the thought of the Lebanese army disarming HizbAllah. I won't share some of the rather naughty things he said
He's on the phone with his mum now - telling her to stock up on medication. She's just asked him if we're coming 
My SIL won't leave. My nephew (lives in London, her son) has just been on the phone with me, asking me how he can convince her 
Her youngest us a US citizen, she is British. The Americans have said they'll take the boy but not his mother. The Brits have said they'll take them both. The mum does not want to leave...
