Thanks so much for the comprehensive First-timer How-to! I LOVE your smileys! I hope I can master GML soon so that I can have equally colourful and effective postings! The list of available smileys is so alluring!

So you are a real person. And 42, the answer to everything! I loved your A-Z to yourself so I posted a "repartee" to it on your "space". Hope you enjoy it!

So you are one of those holy ACEs! I read about the different types of volunteer here and I can only admire you for the energy and time you must be putting into it! Welcoming all those new naive and perplexed members and helping them take those first steps. I have already been through the Guide and -yes- I found myself reading dozens of pages and knowing it´s only the tip of the iceberg! I will need at least a year to know just what is possible, God knows how much longer to actually act on all this.

OK, you are definitely my friend now! You were so quick to write and so helpful. Thanks again!

My name is unique becuase I spelt it wrong....there are other Emily's here..But..I'm the only 2m's Emmily....

In case no one else has already told you..you don't need GuideML for smileys....in conversations and journal entries which are only in plain text..simply......

I'm sure your'll have no problem mastering GuideML..some of it is explained in a complicated way..but..it's really quite easy....

Another Aries eh..so you've got a birthday March or April time too..mines April 16th..

Thanks for the volunteers compliments....When I first registered I was very naive about the workings of a site such as this..I got a lot of help..&..advice..which was what inspired me to become an ACE..

There is a lot to read here..but..be careful..h2g2..can be addictive....

I'm used to poeple commenting on my wrongly spelt name..so I assumed you meant that too....

..i forgot to reply to your other post in my A-Z..i'll do that very soon..

As I say in my A-Z I've got the firey Aries temper..very impatient too....nice to have something like.."hey..I'm an Aries" to blame it on..
