Just thought I'd welcome a fellow Trekkie, & music lover. It seems like 'history' now, but the first (conversational) thread I posted, or contributed, to on here, was about the new Star Trek series Enterprise (which I'm very, very partial to - except for that theme song .) Wow, my own personal bit of h2g2 trivia!
Anyway, Chris, feel free to click on my nickname, to visit my space, & find out a bit more about me (possibly, leave a 'note', mentioning some musical preferences - just a suggestion).
In the meantime I guess, have a or
, & some
...or a
, or
. And, make yourself comfortable...I've become quite fond of the place, & I'm sure you will too. Hope to 'talk' to you soon...bye for now *waves*
greetings Chris!

Hi Jazz,
Many thanks for your message! I'm fairly good with computers, but a complete novice at chatting.
I know its cold in Canada this time of year,
but doesn't a diet of curry and chocolate have dire effects?
You asked about . Mostly classical, although I like early jazz, Louis Armstrong eg.
As for Trek, I grew up with Kirk, thought Picard was , and didn't mind Janeway. Haven't really got into Enterprise owing to it being shown on Sunday mornings and forgetting to programme the video.
Thanks again for getting in touch,
Chris

Ah, good to hear from you Chris...actually, its only -3 C, right now...our winters have been a bit odd (very uncharacteristic), what with Global Warming . We had a very brown Christmas - certainly not what I grew up with
-, but have been getting good snowfalls since, so it actually looks more like winter, as I know it.
I've found that curries & go quite well together...or perhaps, I've kind of 'forced' them together, & don't really notice anything too odd.
And, yes the 'timing' aspect would certainly be a barrier, to your getting attached to Enterprise...it's on in the background here, as I type - Tues. evening. They've got a very good british armouries officer
Ah yes, that was a good era in Jazz!I'm fortunate to get a fair variety of Jazz, at the club where I volunteer ( http://www.yarbirdsuite.com ). In fact, we just had a week-long festival of high school bands. Some very good bands too, heard a very well-done version of Cab Calloway's 'Minnie The Moocher', & someone actually did a very rehearsed cover of Donovan's 'Mellow Yellow'.
Key: Complain about this post
greetings Chris!
