I was lucky, we had been talking about boots before, so there was no drastic change of subject when I told him about the flip flops.
Btw, he said that the connotation with flip flops is : people who can't make up their minds, fits us like gloves, don't you think ?
I used to wear Jesus sandals when I was a teen, bought a new pair every year - the quality being so poor that they never made it a second year . If I'd find them somewhere, I'd and buy a pair, I really loved them, but I haven't seen them for years. but who knows, perhaps they're going to have their revival too

I was more of a 'platform shoes' girl how i managed to walk in them is still a mystery

Ooh, I remember them - I think I was about eleven when they were in fashion - and mini skirts
I had a pair in orange, I can still see them as if it had been yesterday - funny how there are things you never forget

I don't think i'll ever forget some of the 'strange' fashions i wore and colour combinations aswell

Aah, the colours of the seventies
Weren't they just great ? Fortunately, I was young enough not to bother
