You had lasagne on christmas day? Don't you have traditional christmas dinners there?

Not that I knew of. Some people eat turkey, others eat goose, potato salad and sausages are eaten by some on christmas eve. Christmas day is not important here, although it's a bank holiday, as is boxing day, but it's christmas eve which is important. I've heard, it's the same in Austria, don't know about Scandinavia.

i can't imagine christmas day, without the traditional roast dinner. I guess we all have different ways eh!

Did you have a nice evening ? I actually had a very nice evening, at m-i-l's, we had cheese fondue, whine and , some good ol music tunes from the TV - everything was fine.

I did'nt do anything in the evening, just watched a bit of tv. I went to bed long before midnight.

It's cold here, but no snow

Our weather is very cold, a small snow shower yeaterday. Its meant to get warmer again on Sunday. With any luck it will stay that way.

I really do hope we'll not have any nasty weather conditions like snow next weekend. I'm so excited Can't wait to see you again, maybe Tony will come, too. Will be great for hubby to be introduced to some of my friends

There's always the Chihuli exhibition, it's indoors.
1.5 weeks off now, yippee

There is a gallery, with 800 plant paintings. Now thats my idea of a good afternoon It would take far too long to look at those though. Maybe i will make a special trip in the summer to see them.

Sounds good, but the the chhuli exhibition must be very fascinating, too, plants, made of glass. I would post you the link if you could access it. But hey, it's only a week till then anyway. I'm getting all excited now Enjoy your weekend off
