Random thoughts for Guide Entries

Having been a non-resarching Researcher for some 5 weeks, it's about time I earned my magic 42...I'm considering an entry (or more) on Celtic legends, that being the subject that i'm happiest to write about.
I think that I would like to preserve the style as well as the tales: phrases such as 'A long time ago, before the history books began, there lived three women. It was so long ago that their names have been forgotten,but each one wore a different coloured kirtle: one red, one white and one blue'.

Why do loose-leaf journals have occasional pages which read 'This page intentionally left blank'? If they were, surely they wouldn't say so.
And what IS an occasional table the rest of the time?
