Welcome Sir to h2g2. I am Daria, and I am an ACE. (Assistant Community Editor) I just read your page, and found it very interesting indeed. I'm sorry to hear about your wife. That must of been really hard.

I'm here to welcome you, and give you some links that will be of help to you. I am a living and breathing person. I promise you.

The first thing I will say is <./>DontPanic</.> it also a very helpful page to read. Also <./>Askh2g2</.> is another good page. You may find the <./>Welcome</.> Page will give you some good tips too. One of my fellow ACE friends, typed a great page that I know you will find useful. A719840 I hope you like it as we do.

I would say a man with your knowledge could type up a very interesting page. Funny enough, I too know that song well. But it was sung by a group called Darts. My boyfriend still has the record. Funny how things go round. I think I will be a great fan of your page.

On h2g2 we use GuideML, and not HTML. It is quite different, but easy once you get the hang of it. Writing-GuideML is a good page to read. You will also need to read <./>GuideML-Clinic</.>. Please remember the <./>HouseRules</.> when doing your page. They are there for a reason.

May I suggest a nice cup of and some ? If you wish to know how to do the faces and fun little pics. Just click on one, and it will take you to many more. We use them quite a bit on here, and find them great fun.

Thank you so much for your kind words of welcome. I'm always partial to a piece of cake and a cup of tea.

I have read your message several times, and must confess I remain somewhat in the dark as regards the little pictures. Do they carry any religious significance ? I shall show them to Francisca, (my current sage) tomorrow and see what she thinks. They are very pretty, of that there is no doubt.

Please do not feel that you are obliged to use any particular form of address when communicating with me. The traditional form is "Your Grace", but I see that you have at least as many titles as myself; how does one address a Tatrix ? Perhaps we should simply abandon the usual protocols. My friends call me "Perry".

It's been delightful to "talk" to you, and I trust you will not be a stranger should you ever be in the vicinity of Lower Eastpolstead.

They are there really just for fun. A lot of the researchers use them to communicate is a fun way. I hope she likes them. is nice, and I do the ... Here is some more and for you Perry. You don't have to use them if you don't wish too. They are there just for fun.

I agree about the protocol, I just was not sure how to address a Duke. Thank you for that Perry. I got the Tatrix from a series of Science fiction book, I was reading. I don't know if you know anything about the Author John Norman? He is better known as Dr John Lang. He wrote a series called the Gor novels. Gor being a hidden sister to the planet Earth, and on the other side of the sun. Its what I love reading, even though its fiction.

I can well imagine after reading your page, that any thing to do with that song would be a sore point. I found it very interesting though. I love to read things like that.

Hello again Perry,

Just a second thought, if you go to Writing-GuideML, and go to the bottom of the page. You will see h2g2 Picture Library. A lot of pictures you can add to your page. Beside the pictures your see a caption. It will be typed in GuideML. Just copy and paste it onto your page. You will then have pictures on your personal page.
