Started floating lets see if I can swim
Posted Apr 30, 2003
Just a quick message to tell myself that I cheered up somewhat today upon hearing my mum’s workmate's words: there will be others, simple but effective.
As much as I cared for her she had her bad points:
- Too much like me (shy)
- Didn't take as much interest in the world as I do (only so much conversation about everyday things I can stand before I start looking for more interesting things
- No knowledge of computers (as much as I am interested in other things though some people have problems believing me a good part of my (degree) life has been consumed by them and sometimes its the only conversation i can resort to!)
Still I don't ever remember being as happy as I was when I was in her arms so I will try to remember the following:
"Don't regret that its over, smile because it happened"
- some random quote I stored in my head from somewhere
I've also learnt about the nature of depression and how dam hard it is to get out of (if im honest with myself I don't think I wanted to stop being depressed) and it's something I will try my hardest (and fail of course!) to avoid in the future.

How to fly
Posted Apr 28, 2003
When I was a child I remember watching Mysterious Cities of Gold and planning to build my own flying Condor using solar panels from calculators as a power source. I was upset when dad told me this wasn't possible but solar-powered planes now exist. Maybe one day I will get my Condor.
