allfineart - a life
A true renaissance man - scholarship to experimental art school age 12, on to WAIT (West Aust Inst of Tech) BA Fine Art (practical) then a year of philosophy at Adelaide Uni and later BSc Physical Science at UCL (Uni Coll London).
Travelled throughout Australasia, SE Asia, skimmed middle east, most of western europe to end up living in London.
Worked as....
At sea:
Relief lighthouse keeper at Cape Levique -far NE point of WAust, tuna fishing out of Albany, SWest WA to antarctic waters in the 350 ton "Ocean Raider", crayfishing sth of Geraldton on the WA coast.
On land:
Graphic artist, illustrator, visualiser in various Art Studios both in Oz & the UK, and art director & creative director in ad agencies.
I've established a student art gallery, set up a surfer's cafe and had two exhibitions (oil paintings only)
I've also had a long interest in true AI & constructed self-awareness, so the BSc & a semi successful robot project. Astronomy and cosmology (esp multi-dimensional relitivistic quantum cosmology) have been my pet interest for the last 6 years. Slow going, but I'm making progress in proving that not only does all space and time exists at all points in spacetime, but there are practical applictions. This has flown out of a youthful interest in philosophy (in general & a 10 year long study of Raja Yoga-the path to god through psychic knowledge)which gave me a few insights but the applicaion of which I've thankfully outgrown.
I am 50 with an 18 year old son which is shocking to see in print as I'm the same man I was at 25, just smarter. I'm single, having separated 4 years ago after 22 years with my French partner. Our son stayed here in London with me when she returned to live in Paris.
Well, enough for now - prob way too much in fact - first update in a few days.
Oh yes, sci-fi/trek fan and biker for 35 years.
My Honda VFR 800 is currently awaiting accident damage repair. Last bike was the wonderful CBR 1100xx Super Blackbird. Have had Moto Guzzi V50 III, Norton Commando 750 & 850 Dunstall and various other Hondas from 350s to 750 GT over the years.
