Hello one and all.
Day 4 (29th sept)of not smoking and its like living in hell!!!
I expect the first few weeks/months will be like living in Hell (or is it Hull? I can never remember which), and after that will be like living in a puddle of sulphuric acid in Hell and It'll probably go downhill from then on but I'm sick of having lungs that sound like a family of otters have moved in and are re-arranging the furniture.
I'm using nicotine patches and they are bloomin marvelous, they really do help to take the cravings away, especially first thing in the morning. I'm becoming addicted to tea and apples instead, gotta be better for you!!!
Any-hoo, I'll stop banging on about tabs now and tell a little of myself
I'm a huge fan of 80's Goth and alternative music, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Sisters of Mercy, Feilds of the Nephilim etc.. But am absolutely obsessed with COCTEAU TWINS. They have to be the most Origional musicians I've ever heard and Liz Frazers voice is the most beautiful sound I've had the pleasure of listening to. A truely awe inspiring band who I never get tired of!
I also play the bass in a band called MAELSTROM, sort of old school goth with a bit of 80's pop thrown in in case of any accidents. We have a webbsite with some free downloads of our 1st E.P on at www.maelstrom.itgo.com if anyone is of a simillar persuasion. The picures of me on there are well out of date tho, I got rid of my long hair a year ago and have also lost 3 stone so I (hopefully) no longer look like Meatloafs idiot brother. Hoping to get some new pics up soon!
