Yes and beyond our garden is the playing field, a library and the shops so he's picked well. *pines for him*

Yes, he does certainly seem to have got the location right . How long do you think it'll be until you can live there?

The summer does seem a good time to move, I hope it does work out like that, then you'll move in the next 3 months

It's a scary prospect too if you look back at what has happened over the years since graduation job wise

Yes
To add to this I've realised my circle of friends are all over the place and I really fancy some girly nights watching dvds and the like. I miss everyone.

Laura Posted Apr 17, 2008
I miss everyone too, everyone is all over the place, I've only got one good friend locally and the mums at the toddler group, because I'm at home I don't see many adults at all. Hopefully you can build up another circle of friends at your new place and it could bring you some new job opportunities as well. Living independently could give you the confidence for interviews as well

I'd like to learn more about photography so have borrowed a book from the library and joined the voluntary photographers on h2g2 and am the proud owner of two pics already featured on people's entries. Photography is wonderful it keeps memories alive, are great to look at and whether its purely for home entertainment or work purposes is useful. I've been trying to find something local but am having difficulties trying to get a cheap beginners course.

I've done some photography myself, I took a module on wildlife photography at university, it was great fun. I got one of my highest module marks for it too . I imagine courses are expensive, but you can learn the basics with the help of a good guide and lots of practice

In my first year I did photography but I ended up testing myself before I'd got to grips with the basics and while all around me were finding their feet I launched into a project which concerned Photoshop and frightened myself.

Never used photoshop, we used manual cameras. There was another course for digital photography, but you needed a high mark in the first module to get a place, and because I didn't think I'd get a high mark I didn't put my name down

Yes, I wasn't all that good at the time I was making my module choices but then all the terms made sense and I finally understood what I was doing with the camera. It was like learning to drive, seems impossible at first as there's so much you have to do at the same time but then suddenly everything falls into place and you know what you're doing

I once compared driving to sudoko so I know what you're talking about

I like soduko, those puzzles are great as you can put them down for a bit to sort one of the children out and then can pick it up again and carry on
