I've not tried Book crossing so wouldn't know, but I joined last June I think and use it frequently. It's easy to use and convenient if you don't want to use all the forums etc, as they're on a separate section of the website. http://www.bookmooch.com/ is the site if you want to have a look.
I couldn't easily contribute, I haven't got the right equipment and there're only 7 weeks until the baby's due

Unc for the link. I understand that it's difficult to contribute sometimes. I'm not even sure I have the correct equipment.

I've got a digital camera, but not a recorder so I can't make clips. I suppose I could write stuff, but I find it hard to do that when I have to keep stopping and starting.
Doesn't it just? Suddenly Milly's two and the new baby's very close to making an appearance.

Maybe you could get one from freecycle.
Do you know whether it will be a brother or sister to Milly yet?

I might get one eventually, but I think I'll wait until I've got some sort of routine sorted with the baby.
It will be one or the other, I had the chance to find out but I decided to wait. We bought neutral baby stuff anyway as we didn't know what gender Milly was. It took about half an hour after she was born to get used to referring to her as 'she', though it had been an awfully long time since we last had any sleep

You need one point for a book in the UK, 2 points for anywhere else in the world (though some users will only send books to their own country)

Ah neutral is the best. So I guess you are in for more sleepless nights.
ah I see for clearing that one up
If you haven't seen freecycle or the swapshops you really ought to

Being pregnant is good preparation for that, especially late on.
What are they? Websites?

I just joined freecycle, will have a look at what it offers. I do have some stuff I can't give to charity shops because they're electrical goods that I don't want to throw away as they still work fine

Milly went down with a nasty cold Friday night, but apart from that all is well . Well, in this household anyway, things are a bit of a mess with other family members

Hope Milly gets well soon. It's not nice being I've been suffering from a cold myself. Hope that everyone else you know obtain happy resolutions.
