Now there's a plan
A fine philosophy, though in European measurements I'm a 42, which is in it's own right
It did

You'll have to give it a shot...
...I'm getting images of the Monty Python sketch with the mountineer and the guy seeing double
That's rather
really...
Fantastic!

Rambling resumes Sunday so all should be back to normality, as normal as normal ever gets anyway
Near the end of that brief lul between the end of exams and the new semester, ah well .

Well, that's a good start!
Lucky thing... WE're being given mocks left right and centre at the moment

People were looking out in the house earlier, viewing for moving in in September, so the oddness is back
I'll be identifying beetles all day Monday
Oooga Booga Booga!!
Laura Posted Jan 25, 2005
It was very odd
It was fine, but oh so dull. Spent 3 hours looking at 2 beetles down a microscope
Oooooh , only sleeted here

Poor you How are you feeling about it all?
Aparently the people in biology today were looking at beetles. Aparantly, classmate Nathan was holding a conversation with a worm. He claimed that the worm was telling him about his divorce, and then confided in him that he wasn't really a worm, he was a badger. I asked very nicely if he'd been licking any toads.
It keeps snowing but it won't settle

It's not bad, just odd. I'm not looking forward to going back to Hemel and I've jury duty too, but having a place of my own and a job is a different matter.
Oh dear.
Snow has a nasty habit of that

My thoughts exactly, though I've got to graduate first .
There there, you'll just have to move somewhere cold.

ooooooh.... Good luck for then... Erm, a bit far away from the time, I know, but nout wrong with being prepared...
Oooooh, I wouln't mind living in a zoo!
Oooga Booga Booga!!
Existential Elevator Posted Feb 7, 2005
for them too then!
Yeah... I bet sleeping in a zoo would be really odd. I mean, the animals are probably by far more interesting at night.

Existential Elevator Posted Feb 10, 2005
I suppose...
Was it in the Simpsons where they were in a zoo after dark, and all the animals were doing really weird stuff, like the penguins were flying around...
I'm on half term now

Laura Posted Feb 10, 2005
I can't remember to be honest. I've been to a zoo at night and the only thing different really is that it's a bit hard to see anything
Lucky for some

~laughs~ I guess that's the thing, really... When we went to London Zoo a while back, they have a dark area for nocturnal animals and it was very disorienting... couldn't tell where we were going
I guess I'm laden with coursework, though.
I checked out a book from my school library for use with my RS coursework. I used to work in my school library, was the pioneer of transferance to the computer system. When I were a lass it was all on cards... Anyway, back to the point. Not only had this book never actually been checked out, it wasn't on the computer system and it had the old old cards [small, browning, probably quite smelly].
Yikes.
It's probably been in that library longer than I've lived, and I'm the first person to take it into the outside world..
