I had this slightly crazy idea...

On taking a bunch of temps on (of which I was one at the time, newly permed ) one guy said "But I wont get to see my girlfriend" to which the answer was "And that's a disadvantage?"

We're planning on a mini-meet the night before heading off to nodnoL but there's some Northern based researchers who could make it as far as Brum but just not that weekend...
Oh well, more meets for us

Some of us never have the opportunity to go to a "real" meet, so I think it's a wonderful idea.

Took me a second to remember what the idea was
Pleased you like it, I've given it all more thought and the more I think about it the more I like the idea. As soon as I get back to my laptop I'll actaully work on it (this computer just keeps crashing ).

This computer's certainly being a pain, write a reply, press post then the page takes ages to load and half the time all that happens is that all the writing has dissappeared and I have to start all over again.
Concequently I won't be doing anything for a few days and I expect it will take a little while to get things sorted. Hope your computer decieds to work.

I hate packing. Stuff is fine where it is, and so am I.
Bad luck with the 'top Unc.
I am at present 'ther enjoying obscure 'breviations. I 'pologise to any non-native English speakers.

I see. Perhaps something could be done about the geography, so that all these locations would, geographically speaking, be roughly the same.
Perhaps you could use quantum entanglement.
Key: Complain about this post
