Trust me, I understand your frustration. So many people dismiss is as fluff, but there’s so much to it. I love Eliza, and her dad 
. I feel like a bit of a book pimp sometimes, trying to get my friends and loved ones to read my books 
.
My fella didn’t want a piece of it either. Eventually I put the videos on and he thoroughly enjoyed it. There’s so many engaging and amusing characters, and so many things that happen…but it just gets cast aside as girly romance stuff…
…not that the girly romance stuff isn’t great, though…mmmm Mr Darcy….

yesh i agree Mmmhmm Mr Darcy... anyway i really enjoy the bits in the book when hes talking to miss bingley...n she's being really annoying/dumb and he always says the perfect thing! just the right amount of sarcasm/honesty/

He doesn't out and out call her a stuck up moron (even though she is) but he definitely puts her in her place
