well I've done too much partying and spending recently
if I'm going to Ireland and Peru this year I shall have to have a few quiet weekends in the next month or 2

I know what you mean...I've decided ot try and get myself into gear this year and be a bit better behaved....I suppose we'll see what happens...

anyway boardgames can be lots of fun
I'm going over to my mums for dinner tonight so I expect I'll have to play Scrabble

We played SCrabble yesterday, the boy beat me, as he always does...luckily I lose often enough to not let it bother me so much any more

Its pretty even between me and my mum, but when she plays with some of the neighbours she claims she has to lose the ocasional game just to make sure shes invited back again

I'm going to put it down to the luck of the draw as far as yesterday goes, usually we're pretty even, yesterday I got flogged though

I'm sure thats all it was
Nothing more annoying than when your opponent gets all the blanks and s counters and you've got v and u or something like that.

At the end of the game he had the Q and I had all the Us

my mums got a Scrabble Dictionary full of useful but odd words like qi and zo (which is a type of yak) which gives her a big advantage over the neighbours

I know, I was saying yesterday how I wanted a scrabble dictionary...one of my mate's lived with a guy who used ot know all the two letter words, it would be infinitely useful!

yes, I know the ones for the j, q, x and z so I don't get stuck with them at the end of a game

Clever boy, I'll have to get a scrabble dictionary and challenge the boy again

I'm also supposed to be helping my mum to teach some of her friends to play mahjong some time soon but I don't know when thats happening

I've never played proper Mahjong, only ever on hte computer...but I'm pretty good

Well I'm gonna have to boot now, so I can pack and leave on time

I was ill so I was off work then I got depressed and it took a while to pull out of that so I've been doing a pretty good job of meeting myself up actually
Now back to my usual miserable self
