Enjoy as long as you can once there are kids you'll have to wait several years before you can go again

...and that is when being the member of a big family becomes an advantage...
...suddenly my 3 sisters and two brothers become 5 babysitters !!

You're lucky then when they live near
My sister lived 200km away, brother and the rest of the family 600-700 km

Wow !!
One of my sister's lives in the country (and my youngest brother may be moving up with her...but the rest of them live about 20 minutes away from me...
...I don't think I could be away from them that long, as much as they annoy me...

To be honest, there was an advantage or two that my parents and in-laws where that far away less discussions about how to feed and educate the kids

I see your point !
I don't think I'd want to live too close to my family...especially if I have kids...
...hopefully by the time I have my own children, all my brothers and sisters would've moved out of home, so I can move closer to them

Are they all younger than you? My sister is 2 years my senior, but her kids are the same age as mine,we still meet as often as possible, this year my boys went all alone to see their cousins

The three girls are older than me (by 2, 4 and 6 years) and the two boys are younger than me (one is 20 and one is 15)...then I have a 5 year old niece, and 4 and 3 year old nephews ...
...the two eldest girls (with the children) don't live at home...but one of my sisters and both of my brothers still live with their parents...
...i don't know why though

So your youngest brother is the same age as my oldest son
I thought it would be a difficult age, but he is very easy to handle- not so my youngest son, though

I remember when my other brother was 15....he was a little rascal, but still very well behaved at home ...and the youngest...our baby ...is golden...a good kid with a good head on his shoulders

My brother is only two years younger than me, so I never considered him to be sweet
he used to build an alliance with my older sister against me, last time they did so was last summer , I'm the poor sandwich-kid

Ahh...I see what you mean !
The three girls used to run around when we were kids and I was left on my own a lot...then when the boys were born I used to look after them, so now I'm closer to the boys than I am to the girls...
...although I must admit, now that most of us are over the legal drinking age, we definitely get along more

I usually get along great with my sister, not much in touch with my brother, I think they went sort of crazy because of the heatwave we had last summer

We fight all the time...I mean, there's six kids, so chances are at any given time there's going to be at least 2 people who aren't talking to each other !

I hope you had a nice weekend
It was a long weekend her, so I think it goes without saying that it was good !

Glad you had a nice weekend !!
Is it cold everywhere else but here? I keep hearing from people that they're freezing...
...I keep forgetting that it's winter for pretty much everyone else in here but me
