LOL
I chose it out of an invisible hat I have beside me here, fully intent to provide a neutral children's story! On reflection, no such thing exists!
*Wipes tears from eyes*
OK, OK, I give!
Wait, wait....Thomas the Tank Engine?

Aren't the upright, heroic engines all male? And the obstinate, gossipy, obstructive and downright silly carriages all female?

Actually (and I hope I'm remembering correctly) I think I've read a denunciation of Thomas the Tank Engine on the grounds of sexism somewhere ...

On the other hand, it's more likely for little boys to interested in trains than little girls. Easier to play to the lowest common denominator than to worry about pandering to the causeheads.

Hey, Anhaga... I was going to post on 'Ask', but in the end I couldn't be bothered
>>gigaborg's intellectual lard<< Thanks - I enjoyed that! And I wanted to say something similar for the last few hours, watching that thread drift from the drift of the drift ... shame, really - I thought it was back on track for a bit and enjoyed it very much this afto.

Seriously, how did he get onto that thread?
I've decided that I'm going to ignore him, apart from a shot now and then. He says he's going to be leaving in 48 hours anyway.

Since somebody (I think it was Azahar) went to a fair amount of trouble yesterday to post links and to let him know how he could stick to one thread, he seems to have doubled his spread today.
Some of it is so outrageous it just makes me laugh, but talk of torture and guns - no thanks
As you say, 48 hours and he's off

Anahaga, (or should I perhaps address you as Dr. Frankenstien?) am I the only one who thought 'the iceman cometh' when I saw the comments of a certain mental giant on 'that thread'
Admit it. It's really trunt isn't it!

Personally, I suspect GGB is doing a wind-up! It's an elaborate and joke, is my theory. But I could be (possibly am) wrong..
