I agree that your brain is seeding it's random numbers incorrectly. You will find that the words that you are saying, will not just all be the same, but in the same order. What you could try is implementing a genetic algorithm that randomly sorts the array every so often using a different random function that is seeded from the order of Adam's word array. His array sorting function could also use the order of yours to sort his. A sort of back scratching arrangment you see, to stop you from both saying fish all the time!
