Hey, was wondering when i would get the welcome message, while having a look around the site i came apon a conv by some ACE's saying that they had noticed that some newbies thought the welcome message was automated, some rather funny ways they thought of to show that it was from a real person and not some automated computer program!

I'll have a little look at your surgestions, already started a conv, even if on a rather strange subject, but hey u have to start somewhere!

I promise us ACE's are real I did see some of them saying they would put spelling mistakes into the messages to let people know it wasn't automated

So how you finding h2g2 then<?>

s'good so far, im gonna show a few friends who i think would love h2g2, plus they happen to be better writers than me

How long u been part of h2g2?

Well I opened the account in October 2000 but it took me ages to get into it so I became a regular user about August 2001. And now I'm hooked

as u know i only joined few days ago, but already addicted! better than e-mails to mates, as ne one can join in, the whole biggyness of it all, a real 4 sheep of the apocolypse place!
