It's like we never moved. The Great Battle for the Back Bedroom is over. Young master won that one and the dog and I have a lot of storage space to look forward to in the garage.

Not bad for Army subbed housing.

There is an un-advertised problem with every garage, ... They shrink with age. As each season passes, you'll find the available space withering away ...

We are still talking about garages, right?

Well yeah, garages are one category of things that shrink with age. Other considerations and concerns are best discussed in a less open and family-safe zone.

How's this week looking for you, mate? I need to come to work on Monday's to re-coup from the week-end labours. This week-end took care of all the putting-stuff-away-for-winter, and raking and mulching of zillions of leaves.

It's not been a bad start to the week.

I was doing pretty much the same work in our garden, but had the boy to help me. He really got into the work and has put in a request to take charge of the gardening from now on. This is usually Hazel's baby, but she has been glad to pass on the baton!

I've apparently had an email from a colleague that I will pass onto you later. Hopefully it will be good news.

Mails are always interesting, and frequently fun.

And hey, do take 'advantage' of the Master's interest. It may be fleeting.

He did go through a cooking stage a short while ago that lasted precisely three meals.

Hey, atleast he gave it a go. Come the day he steps out in to the real world, ... he'll have atelast the beginning of a variety of skills. So many "kids" finally leave home in their mid-20s, and can even boil an egg.

alas and alack i have lost me har arrrrrr..

instead i seem to be stuck with this permenant grin and a large collection of bawdy jokes.. might need to change the strength of me grog down a notch or two
