Hi Amy, it's good to hear from you! Yeah 2legs is definitely not common, I would agree with that! Am I right in thinking that you live in the USA? smiley - biggrin

Oh, so it could be a smiley - cake ! Excellent. Have you ever been to a meet in the flesh? I did see you at the 25th Jan meet on paper. As I'd only been a researcher for a few weeks, I did wonder what that was all about! Whereabouts in California do you live? What's that like, is it all sunshine and smiles like the media hint at? smiley - ermsmiley - biggrin

I got to go to a meet last summer, in Pennsylvania, and did some write-ups for smiley - thepost on it (Yes, I said 'write-ups'--pluralsmiley - winkeye) I'll get you the links later, if you're curioussmiley - smiley

I'm in Sacramento, California--sort of middle, northern. And it's not sunny all the time, just like London's not always rainy and foggy... OK, maybe that's a bad analogy, considering the weather discussions I've seen on heresmiley - winkeye Anyway, the media's about as accurate as you'd expect...

Pennsylvania is quite a trek for you, isn't it? My husband's family live in and around Pittsburgh.

Yeah I'd love to see the meet reports!

Being British - here's the weather conversation! I live quite close to London, and I can assure you that it is quite rainy and/or cold for probably 8 months of the year. However today it is glorious sunshine and unseasonably warm for March - 16C, which I believe is about 55 Farenheit.

Very nice. Too good to be sat in the office. I'll probably go for a smoke break soon, and make the most of it!! From that point of view, it's a good thing that things are so relaxed in here right now. Nobody bats an eyelid no matter how many times I go outside during the day.

Blimey! That's what I call a meet. The last one (Unofficial) in London could probably be described as - "Went to the pub: got drunk and had a lot of laughs; went to another pub; went back to the first pub and got more drunk". I reckon 2legs could probably vouch for me on that! smiley - biggrin
