Okay, i'm almost 22 and currently reside in Swansea in Wales

I'm doing a volunteer thing for the National Trust all of next week, so i'll be without H2G2 for an entire week

I hope i don't get withdrawl symptoms.

Ok, see - it was easy to start! Im 18. Going to uni in 3 weeks to Aston Brum. Im going to read Biology. Whats the volunteer thingy about? How'd you get into it? What colour is your duvet?

Withdrawl... aaagh! I dont even know if i can access this when im at uni... really hope i can... *cries*

Back from National Trust thing, i've written a thing about it my journal.

Managed to cope without H2G2 okay, though i'm now wageing through a ton of backlog.

Hope you have fun at Uni, i'm just about to start my 3rd year which is just damn scary.

oooo an artist! Cool. How do u study illustration? Like do u look at Winnie the Pooh and think wow a bear on a balloon or do u do illustrations. Sorry to be very abrupt about that. its not intended to sound rude but i honestly have no clue what it is...

Well mainly its drawing, for example, we'd be given a childrens story and we would have to draw pictures to accompany the text.

But its not just childrens books, we can do pictures for newspapers/magazines, packaging, t- shirts, whatever.

Unfortunately we still have a written part of the course, where we study the work of other illustrators and write essays about symbolism and such like. Which includes a dissertation which i will soon have to write.

so u drew them??! Wow! There good. It sounds like fun. I havent done art for about 4 years now though so I'd be hopeless.

I have a problem. My freshers ball is in two and a half weeks. The theme is the letter G. I need a good but alluring costume. Any ideas.. the best i got so far is garfield (on a diet) or a greek goddess. but i thinks thats a tad crap...

What about G for Groovy and go in some 60's style stuff.

or maybe an actress whos name begins with G

Im likeing the actress one... could go as Gwen Stefani or sumat. Cept im not blonde.

Well if you wear nowt but a 'G-strin,' i can guarantee you'll be very popular with the lads.

Gambit - only if you're an X-men fan

Gangster - more for blokes i think

Gaudy - just wear something truely bright and tasteless

Geisha - for a Japanese theme

Genie - requires old oil lamp and lots of blue face paint

Ghost & Ghoul & Goblin - more for halloween but could still work.

Gnome - need a fake beard and red hat

Granny - white wig and cardigan



Remember whatever you wear, you'll be wearing it all night, so make sure it is not too heavy, too hot or too expensive.
